LAS VEGAS — Fellow AllSportsTucson.com writer Steve Rivera and I and other reporters talked to Parker Jackson-Cartwright on Friday night after the win over UCLA.
I asked him about his control — 11 assists and only one turnover against Colorado and UCLA here — and his outlook on playing Oregon tonight for the Pac-12 tournament title. Rivera asked him about the aggressive play of Kadeem Allen and Rawle Alkins.
Jackson-Cartwright was also aggressive, tallying three crucial steals against the Bruins in the 86-75 win at T-Mobile Arena.
Bruce Pascoe of The Arizona Daily Star asked Jackson-Cartwright about the Arizona’s offensive play in Vegas after scoring 92 and 86 points against Colorado and UCLA, respectively.
