Canyon del Oro standout Alec Ivanoff announced his commitment to play baseball for South Mountain on Monday.
“Our family has been blessed to watch this young man play baseball since he was very young in CDO Little League,” his father John Ivanoff said.
“Now we begin a new adventure on the diamond. His success is in large part to all of the coaches and friends who have supported him through the years. The future is bright and we are excited to see what comes next!”
NOTE: Ivanoff has the distinction of hitting two holes-in-one while playing golf for the Dorados.
