Arizona Wildcats great Chuck Cecil, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, published today his first one-minute clinic video on proper defensive back techniques on Twitter.
Cecil, a 16-year assistant coach in the NFL with the Titans and Rams, is presently without a coaching position.
This video has to do with how to stay on top of the receiver and not get beat deep:
Cecil knows of what he talks about with his extensive coaching background and skill as a safety with the Wildcats from 1984 to 1987 and seven seasons in the NFL.
He was a two-time first team Academic All-America selection (1986-87) after beginning his Arizona career as a recruited walk-on. He was also a consensus All-American in 1987.
Cecil holds the Arizona career record with 21 interceptions, including one returned one 100 yards for a touchdown against ASU in 1986.
He was inducted into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
