Former Arizona outfielder Joey Rickard, a member of the Wildcats’ College World Series championship team in 2012, made two straight sensational catches in left field for the Baltimore Orioles tonight at Camden Yards.
Rickard, 26, is in his second season with the Orioles. He is batting .264 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs in his brief career. This season, he is at .256 in 125 at-bats with two home runs and nine RBIs.
His glove is obviously earning high marks.
