LITTLE LEAGUE: Rincon wins 8-10 Baseball & Randolph wins Juniors; State tournaments at Arthur Pack tonight

FREE LITTLE LEAGUE PHOTOS HERE

Rincon beat Copper Hills 14-4 to win the District 12 8-10 Baseball championship held at Palo Verde Park. Rincon went 4-0 at the tournament and will advance to the state tournament scheduled for Casa Grande. The team from Vail will play next Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Randolph beat Sunnyside 15-10 to win the District 12 Junior Baseball championship held at Manzanita Park. Sunnyside beat Randolph on Tuesday night to force the extra game. Randolph will travel to North Phoenix to play in the state tournament and will face Nogales on Monday, July 17 at 5:30 p.m.

Thornydale got past Bisbee at the 9-11 State Softball Tournament held at Arthur Pack. Thornydale will play Gilbert today at 6:30 in an elimination game.

Tucson Mountain will play in an elimination game tonight at 5 p.m. at the State Senior Tournament held at Arthur Pack. Nogales will face Clarendon at 7:30 p.m.
