— Larson later had a 70-yard kickoff return for a TD
— Wyatt scored his second TD on an 8-yard run to put the Mountain Lions up 21-7.

CATALINA FOOTHILLS QB CHRIS KOWALCEK

Catalina Foothills QB Chris Kowalcek (Andy Morales/AllSportsTucson.com)

After the start of the fourth quarter, Kowalcek threw a TD pass and ran for two more, including a 15-yard deciding score in overtime to lift Catalina Foothills to an 18-12 come-from-behind win over host Empire on Friday night.

The victory allowed coach Jeff Scurran to earn his 300th victory in his career.

Kowalcek tied the game at 12 with 47 seconds left in regulation on a 45-yard pass from Kowalcek to Brandon Tamplin.

Following a fumble by Empire in overtime, Kowalcek found a seam and ran 15 yards for the winning score.
