Former University of Arizona quarterback Nick Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles to a 34-29 win over the New York Giants on Sunday. Foles collected four touchdown passes in his first start since replacing the injured Carson Wentz. The win guaranteed a first-round bye for the Eagles (12-2) while the Giants fell to 2-12.
Foles went 24 for 38 for 237 yards for a QB Rating of 115.8.
Former Wildcat tight end Rob Gronkowski collected 168 yards receiving on nine catches to help the New England Patriots get past the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24. Both teams are sitting at 12-3 on the year.
Gronkowski caught three passes in the game-winning drive alone for a total of 69 yards. He also cashed in on a 2-point conversion. He now has 1,017 receiving yards on the year.
