The Tucson Summer Pro League for Kids (ages 11 to 13) began its competition over the weekend at The Gregory School and will continue until the championship game July 21.
The games will be played on weekends leading up the championship, except when the adult division has its tournament June 22-24 at The Gregory School (3231 N Craycroft Road).
Saturday’s games in the TSPL for Kids competition:
11 a.m. — Buffalo Wild Wings vs. Tucson Appliance and Furniture Company
12 p.m. — Asarco vs. Ace Hardware
1 p.m. — Pima Federal Credit Union vs. Bruce Baca Real Estate
2 p.m. — Pascua Yaqui Tribe vs. Window Depot
3 p.m. — Truly Nolen vs. Moore Law Firm
The TSPL, directed by former Arizona basketball player Corey Williams since 2004, announced the players of the game Sunday of each of the five games played. Here they are:
