Southwest NTIS advances to USA Baseball 15U semifinal round

USA Baseball 15U National Team Identification Series (NTIS)
Aug. 17-19: Cary, North Carolina

Nick Arias (Tucson), Alessandro Castro (Pusch Ridge), Andres Flores (Tucson) and Mason White (Salpointe) are in Cary, North Carolina as part of the USA Baseball 15U National Team Identification Series (NTIS), playing for the Southwest squad.

SW NTIS beat the Midwest team 10-3 Friday morning and the Northwest team 4-0 later in the day to advance to the final four. White went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the morning game and Castro struck out four batters in five innings of work to get the win over the Northwest team.

SW NTIS will play South Texas on Saturday morning for a shot at the championship.
