Walden Grove brothers Alex and Jordan Lopez share APS Digital/Tucson Conquistadores Player of the Week honors

Walden Grove brothers, Alex and Jordan Lopez, shined in a 58-0 win over Douglas on Friday and the twins set several school records in the process. Alex set a single-game passing record of 401 yards and Jordan set the single-game receiving record of 240 yards and the single-game touchdown catch record of 5.

Alex tied the 5 TD-pass record he set earlier in the year but the duo combined for a 93-yard TD connection against Douglas, which is also a new school record.

The Red Wolves improved to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the 4A Gila Region. The Lopez brothers will receive their award this week in practice.

We are also creeping up on a couple of new records involving Marana QB Trenton Bourguet and Tombstone RB Tyler Wilridge.

Bourguet is now 459 yards away from becoming only the fourth QB in Southern Arizona history to pass for 7,000 career yards and Wilridge is 729 yards away from setting the state 2A rushing record:
