The Rio Rico Rattler cross country meet was ran Saturday morning on the same course that will be used for the Southern Arizona sectional races for Division II, Division III and Division IV races scheduled for Oct. 31.
The top 50% of the full teams from the sectional races will qualify for state. The top 25 runners will also qualify regardless of team finish. If the top 25 runners already belong to qualifying teams, then no other runners will qualify.
Rio Rico standout Samantha Schadler ran the best time on the girl’s side with a 19:08.5 and Cienega’s Ayden Schilb ran 16:43.4 on the boy’s side.
