It’s been a pretty good 40-plus days for Arizona coach Sean Miller and his basketball program. He picked up a commitment from his third top-notch guard in Terry Armstrong on Wednesday afternoon.
Armstrong, who had New Mexico and Oklahoma as his other choices, made the announcement via Twitter. He’s a 6-foot-6, 185-pound, four-star guard.

It had been recently suspected Armstrong would commit to UA.
He will join guard Nico Mannion, guard Josh Green and center Christian Koloko as the 2019 class commitments. Miller picked up all the commitments in the last 40-plus days.
It’s suspected that Miller will use Mannion and Green on a team loaded with backcourt players and play an uptempo system given it has a host of guards coming back next season, including Brandon Williams, Brandon Randolph and Alex Barcello, among others.
Miller has said he would likely play a guard-oriented offense at times this season given his roster of undersized players.
