Have a Merry Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

(Maggie Morales Photo)

A Child was born to a world torn,
between wrong and right, between dawn and night.

If you believe in Him still, believe in goodwill,
from woman and man, then do all you can.

It’s not about cards and toys for girls and boys,
It’s about accepting differences you see, all that makes you you and me me.

It’s about doing good, removing sadness from where it stood.
It’s about mending hearts from what broke them apart.

The presents, the lights, the Christmas cheer, they come and go year after year,
but why they go, no one knows, imagine a world where it always shows.

Dream of Peace on Earth, imagine with all your worth.
A Child was born for this reason, but for always, not just the Christmas season.

A snowman, an elf and a reindeer’s nose, hold all family, friends and strangers close.
Have a Merry yesterday, today and tomorrow, with all the joy you can make, give or borrow.
