Ironwood Ridge standout Andrew Cook to play for Colorado State-Pueblo

Ironwood Ridge standout receiver Andrew Cook announced his commitment to play for Colorado State University-Pueblo on Tuesday. Cook earned First Team All-Southern Arizona status after pulling down 765 yards with nine touchdowns to help lead the Nighthawks to a region title. Cook also rushed for 272 yards and he collected 505 return yards to end his senior year with 1,542 all-purpose yards. He also led the team with 11 TDs and 66 points.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014 and he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017 and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
