One of my goals joining AllSportsTucson.com is to get people excited about the First Tee Program and all the benefits it comes with for young golfers in Tucson.
I want to help increase exposure to the program by highlighting these kids as I was one not so long ago. Another goal is to get more kids to sign up with First Tee.
I am born and raised in Tucson and grew up a member of the Ricki Rarick Junior Golf Program. I was also the 1995 winner of the Cindy Rarick Achievement Award.
I was a four-time all-conference golfer, 2003 Horizon League Golfer of the Year, and 2000 MCC Newcomer of the Year while attending Wright State University on a golf scholarship. I am hoping some kid is inspired to work hard because there are great opportunities out there.

Overall, I want to focus on kids and people who are making a positive impact within the community.
