Twin brothers Demari and Tomari Harris each scored 15 points to lead The Gregory School past Fort Thomas 51-48 earlier today in a Class 1A state semifinal game at The Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott.
The Hawks (28-4) advance to the state championship to play Ray (19-12) at 6 p.m. tonight at the Findlay Toyota Center.
Anderson Mort contributed nine points for The Gregory School in the win over Fort Thomas. Mort had a 3-pointer as did Josiah Prior and Tomari Harris. Demari Harris had two.
The Hawks, who led 43-30 after the third quarter, held on to win. Fort Thomas had a chance to send the game into overtime but missed a 3-pointer as time expired.
Tomari Harris leads the Hawks with 21.2 points per game while Mort is the leader in rebounds (8.5 per game) and assists (4.8).
