Former Arizona Wildcat, the school’s career rushing leader, is playing for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

The Canyon del Oro alum played for the Chicago Bears from 2014 to 2016, rushing for 443 yards on 111 carries.
Carey, was signed by Calgary on Oct. 3 but did not play in the team’s final seven games last season, which included a run to the Grey Cup championship. He rushed for a touchdown last week in a 37-10 win against Saskatchewan (when he ran 13 times for 63 yards) and also rushed for a score Saturday night vs. Hamilton after his punt block.
