Their run is over but the memories are everlasting for these mostly 11 and 12 year-old kids from Sunnyside who represented Arizona in the West Regional Little League tournament at San Bernardino, Calif.
This site has received photos graciously provided by one mother of a player — Amanda Romo, whose son Andrew Romo is on the team — to put together a slideshow of the team during their last couple of days in the tournament.

Karla Moraga, mom of pitcher/first baseman Izaiah Moraga, took the first picture in the accompanying slideshow of her son and teammate Michel Muñiz Jr.
Izaiah and Mikey (as Muñiz is called) provided the dramatic hits in Friday night’s sixth-inning rally against Northern California. Izaiah hit a game-tying home run and Muniz later had a walkoff double, scoring Francisco Rivero (who singled with two outs to keep the rally alive). Izaiah and Mikey are classmates at Gallego Intermediate.
