Flowing Wells will be inducting another class into the Caballero Sports Hall of Fame this Friday, October 4, at half time of the football game against Empire. There will be a dinner ceremony in the cafeteria of the high school before the game for all the inductees and their families and friends. The cost of the dinner is only $10. Jeff Stanley
1973 graduate of Flowing Wells High School
Earned two varsity letters in football and basketball, and three letters in baseball
All-Conference selection in football and baseball his junior and senior year
Member of the 1971 and 1972 football state runner up teams
Member of the 1973 Basketball and Baseball Conference Championship team
Member of both the 1976 Baseball National Junior College Championship team at Cochise College and the 1978 Baseball NAIA National Championship at Emporia State University
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in education from the University of Arizona
Jeff is married to Trisha. He has seven children: Vanessa, Aaron, Joseph, Jocelyn, Greg, Jeffrey, and Chris, and 18 grandchildren.
Loree Swinford Thompson
A 1982 graduate of Flowing Wells High School
Earned four varsity letters in Track and Field, and one varsity letter in Cheer
1982 State Champion in the 200 Low Hurdles, the High Jump, and member of the 4 x 100 relay Championship team
First Team All-State selection in Track and Field her Junior and Senior year
A 1984 All-American in the Heptathlon for Pima Community College
Loree graduated in 1987 at the University of Arizona with honors with a Business Degree with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems that led to a career as a Certified Public Accountant
Loree is married to Doug and they have two children: Alyssa and Haylee.
Lisa McBride Lewis
A 2005 graduate of Flowing Wells High School
Earned three varsity letters in Volleyball, one varsity letter in Track, and four varsity letters in basketball
Chosen as the 2003, 2004, and 2005 Arizona Scholar Athlete of the Year
2005 Southern Arizona Region Basketball Co-Player of the Year

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014 and he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017 and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years. His own children have won multiple state high school championships and were named to all-state teams. Competing in hockey, basketball, baseball and track & field in high school, his unique perspective can only be found here and on AZPreps365.com. Andy is the Southern Arizona voting member of the Ed Doherty Award, recognizing the top football player in Arizona, and he was named a Local Hero by the Tucson Weekly for 2016.
