Former Marana standout Jamee Swan was named to the Colorado All-Decade Team on Thursday. Swan played for Colorado from 2012 to 2016 and she is listed as a forward on the First Team.
“Arguably the Buffs’ best true post player of the decade, she received All-Pac-12 honorable mention twice. Ranks seventh in CU history in rebounds (772) and 21st in points (1,245) and posted 14 career double-doubles. Became a starter as a junior and in her final two seasons, she averaged 13.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.”

This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to achieve either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level. These are not high school awards but collegiate and professional recognitions. NOT CHAMPIONSHIPS. If you are aware of anything I have missed along the way, please let me know.
