El Tour giving away 10 free entries; tell them a story on a worthy Essential Worker

Have a hero on the healthcare frontline? Have a favorite story about an essential worker helping Tucson or anywhere get through the COVID-19 pandemic?

El Tour wants to hear your story! We want to hear it. Celebrate their accomplishment and they could win a free entry into the Banner – University Medicine 38th El Tour de Tucson.

El Tour is giving away 10 entries to worthy essential workers for the ride set for Nov. 21, 2020.

It’s part of the global effort of #GivingTuesdayNow, a day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.

El Tour wants to help.

“Essential Workers are our Heroes” said Charlene Grabowski, El Tour’s CEO. “And we want to hear about an amazing essential worker that you think is a HERO. Please submit your story about your favorite Essential Worker. We want to reward the Essential Worker with a free entry in the Banner University Medicine 38th El Tour de Tucson. We will review all of the stories, post them on our website and social and share them with you. We will then randomly pick 10 winners and call them with their entry sponsored by you the contributor.

“We are so appreciative for all of our Essential workers who are out here supporting us in so many ways.  El tour de Tucson says a big thank you to our Essential Worker Heroes!”

Post your story about an Essential Work in the comment section of the El Tour’s Facebook post link for this contest at https://www.facebook.com/ElTourdeTucson/. The contest ends at noon pacific time on May 9, 2020.

Again, tell El Tour your story on your favorite and deserving essential worker.
