CDO senior running back Stevie Rocker Jr., who has committed to play for Arizona as part of the Wildcats’ Class of 2021 recruiting effort, announced today he will play in the Blue-Grey High School All-American Bowl at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
The All-American Bowl will be Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. Tucson time. ESPN will televise it.
Pusch Ridge senior running back/defensive back Evan Lovett will also play in that game.
Rocker, 6-foot and 185 pounds, is one of the top returning running backs in the state. In 16 games of his varsity career — limited to six games last year because of an ankle injury — Rocker has gained 1,534 yards on 213 carries.
He has 13 rushing touchdowns in his career, including a 99-yard run during his sophomore season of 2018.
Rated a 3-star talent by most recruiting services, Rocker was also recruited heavily by BYU, Cal and Nevada.
