Canyon del Oro standout pitcher/infielder Michael “Mac” Kochanski (6-0, 200) announced his commitment to play for Loras College on Wednesday, Kochanski was 1-0 on the mound last spring with 11 strikeouts in 10 innings of work. The senior also picked up a double and two RBI at the plate to help lead the Dorados to a 4-1 record.
Loras College is located in Dubuque, Iowa and the Duhawks compete in the American Rivers Conference (ARC) as an NCAA Division III program.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
