Former Phoenix Cesar Chavez coach Gary Lee, who won more than 400 games with the Champions, will lead the Mica Mountain boys basketball program pending approval from the Vail School Board, school assistant principal for interscholastics Jay Campos has announced.
Mica Mountain, in its first year of existence, is filling the head coaching position left vacant after Marty Roth departed in August to lead the new prep team Southern Arizona Volunteers.
