Sabino Bat Cats Claim American Heroes Tournament Championship

The Bat Cats — a team comprised of Sabino High School players — earned the Kino Baseball League’s American Heroes Veterans Tournament championship on Wednesday with a 7-3 win over the Vista Grande of Casa Grande at the Kino Sports Complex.

The Bat Cats went 7-3 overall in the tournament, hosted by the Kino Baseball League, including 3-0 in the championship rounds on Wednesday.
