Amphitheater junior RB Kiko Trejo rushed for 210 yards on 15 carries with 3 touchdowns to help lead the Panthers past Flowing Wells 28-17 Friday night. The effort also put Trejo past the 1,000-yard mark in his career at Amphitheater.

Trejo was named APS Digital Print/Frog & Firkin Player of the Week and he earned a banner for himself and for his school from APS Digital Print and a Frog & Firkin Football for his teammates to sign.

The Panthers are 3-0 for the first time since Vern Friedli led the team to an 8-4 record in 2009 and the team is slated to host Rincon/University (0-1) this Friday night.
