Rio Rico pitcher Raul Garayzar is also headed to play for the Cougars. At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Garayzar throws in the upper 80s and will be an imposing figure for the program

The Cougars are located in Phoenix and the program competes in the Arizona Community College Athletic Association (ACCAC).
