Gone: Berryhill transferring, recruits decommitting

And the transfers roll.

One, two, three, four and more … out the door.

Stanley Berryhill

Just 48 hours after Kevin Sumlin was let go as Arizona’s head football coach, one of this season’s key players has decided to leave the program and a couple more recruits have said thanks but no thanks.

Such is the world for Arizona football where next year’s coach will have less talent to work with than this year’s winless team.

Patience anyone?

Stanley Berryhill has decided to leave the program after writing that “playing for the University of Arizona has been a lifelong dream.

Local recruit, Salpointe’s Treyson Bourguet, has decided to “take some time to reflect and reopen my recruitment. No love has been lost for the great University of Arizona.”

Junior college cornerback Antonio Brooks said he too is restarting his recruitment.

New Orleans recruits Montrell Johnson and Tyrese Johnson said they were reopening their recruitment.

They join Chandler’s Kyion Graves who also has decommitted.

National signing day is Wednesday.
