Tucson High senior Ahidali Dehuelbes announced her commitment to play basketball for Eastern Nazarene. Dehuelbes led the Badgers with almost 7 points and 4 assists a game last season to help take the program to a 13-6 record in power-ranking games and a 6A Metro Region championship.
The Badgers will be playing in the 6A Desert Southwest Region this winter along with Rincon/University, Yuma Cibola, Yuma Kofa, Maricopa and San Luis. The Badgers have won six region titles in a row dating back to the 2014-15 season.
Eastern Nazarene College is located in Quincy, Massachusetts and the Lions compete in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as an NCAA D-II program.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
