Tucson holds off Nogales 56-43

Tucson lost to Xavier Prep 77-26 last Friday but the Badgers turned around quickly thanks to a hard-fought 56-43 win over Nogales at home Monday night. The victory moved the Badgers to 3-1 on the year with a trip to Sunnyside (3-1) scheduled for Wednesday. The Badgers made the play-in tournament last year but that avenue to the state playoffs is only available to the 2A Conference this winter…
