Former Sahuaro and University of Arizona standout pitcher Gina Snyder and former Arizona outfielder Mandie Perez were selected to be members of Team Florida for the Valencia Cup to be played in Barcelona from May 8-15.
The team will be competing against Mexico, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Spain. The team will also participate in youth clinics in Barcelona.
Snyder is currently the coach of Bradenton Slice of the Florida Gulf Coast League and Perez is a member of the California Commotion of the National Pro Fastpitch.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
