Marana standout middle/outside Dalia Haase announced her commitment to play volleyball for Embry-Riddle. Haase was a First Team All-Southern Arizona selection in her senior year and she helped lead the Tigers to a 9-4 record and a No. 7 ranking in the 5A Conference.
At 6-foot-1, Haase collected 141 kills and 34 blocks in the short season due to COVID restrictions. Her stats extrapolated out for a complete season would have come out to over 400 kills and over 100 blocks.
Located in Prescott, Embry-Riddle competes in the California Pacific Conference as an NAIA institution.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years. He was the first in Arizona to write about high school beach volleyball and high school girls wrestling. His own children have won multiple state high school championships and were named to all-state teams. Andy is the Southern Arizona voting member of the Ed Doherty Award, recognizing the top football player in Arizona, and he was named a Local Hero by the Tucson Weekly for 2016.
