Two FC Tucson youth girls soccer teams brought home the Arizona State Cup after each took part in championship matches Sunday at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix.
The FC Tucson 02/03 19U Girls Black team defeated CCV Stars 02/03 with a final score of 3-1. The team is coached by David Cosgrove and the manager is Meg Riley. Cosgrove is also the Pima Community College men’s soccer coach.
The FC Tucson 04 17U Girls Black team won its title game 1-0 over the Utah Royals AZ 04 DPL. The coach is Roberto Garcia and the manager is Adrienne Walker-Heller.
