Sharrah is experiencing his second Olympics competition. He finished ninth in the Rio Olympics in 2016. He won a world championship

According to his USA Cycling bio, Sharrah was only 2 when his parents brought home a bike that they bought from a store such as Walmart or Target, not a local bike store. Sharrah got the most out of the bike.

He designed and built a legitimate BMX practice track in his backyard. He attributes his parents, brothers, sister, and grandfather for pushing him to succeed in competition.
