Goodman had a team-best six tackles for loss. … St. David’s first two games of the season have been postponed because of COVID-19 implications. The Tigers’ opener against Cibecue, slated for next Friday, will have to be rescheduled after some of Cibecue’s players tested positive for COVID-19. Their second game at Baboquivari, originally scheduled for Aug. 27, will be Sept. 28 at home instead. An outbreak of COVID-19 within the Baboquivari School District has forced students to have remote learning until at least Aug. 23.
