Jake Cioe was a main part of the 2020 Salpointe squad that brought home a state championship and Cioe will continue his basketball career as a walk on for San Francisco. The Dons compete in the West Coast Conference.
Cioe averaged 6.9 points a game for the Lancers in his senior year along with along with 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He reportedly worked out with Majok Deng (Pepperdine) and Evan Nelson (Harvard) in preparation.
Former Sahuaro and San Francisco standout Nate Renfro signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the San Antonio Spurs and he joined the training camp on Friday.
Renfro played for the Austin Spurs last year and he averaged 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds a game for the San Antonio summer league team.
