The Tucson Titans “The City” 6U flag football team of the Southern Arizona NFL Flag Football League traveled to Tampa, Fla., over the weekend and competed well in the Flag Football Life National Championships.
“The City” was second out of 10 teams.
They competed against teams from Florida, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
They had four shutouts and beat the No. 1 seed from Indiana to get to the championship.
The Tucson team finished its 6U tourney season with four championships in Phoenix and second-place finishes in Las Vegas, San Diego and Tampa.
