Dezmen Roebuck, only a freshman at Marana High School, is getting a significant reward for his productive season within Phillip Steward’s effective passing offense.
He announced via Twitter a scholarship offer from Arizona receivers coach Kevin Cummings.
Roebuck, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, had 44 catches for 502 yards with five touchdowns for the Tigers. He also had 32 tackles, two for loss, as a cornerback.

Roebuck is the younger brother of former Marana athlete Isaiah Roebuck, who was offered a preferred walk-on spot by Arizona last year. The older Roebuck is also a baseball standout. He opted to attend Jamestown, an NAIA program in North Dakota, because he was welcomed as a football and baseball player.
Arizona also has offered Class of 2024 standout linemen Sa’Kylee Woodard of CDO and Elijah Rushing and Luis Cordova of Salpointe.
