Former Amphitheater and Arizona lineman David Watson to play football and baseball for Adams State

Former Amphitheater and University of Arizona lineman David Watson entered the NCAA transfer portal in December and he was picked up by Adams State last week. Watson will also be playing baseball for the Grizzlies.

“David is great young man who has joined our team this spring. He brings a ton of experience to our program.,” said head football coach Jarrell Harrison. “He will be playing baseball also, and that speaks to the athleticism this big man has.”

Watson’s father, also named David Watson, played for the Wildcats in the 1990s and his mother, Laura Espinoza-Watson played softball for Arizona.
