Dillan Baker had 17 points and Brett Rosenblatt added 16 to lead host Salpointe Catholic to a 65-57 win over Glendale Cactus in a 4A state quarterfinal game on Friday night.
The top-seeded Lancers are 25-2 in Eric Castillo’s first year as head coach. His team hosts Glendale Deer Valley (22-5) on Tuesday in a semifinal game at 7 p.m.
The 4A state title game is Monday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum.

Salpointe built an 18-11 lead in the first quarter against Cactus behind six points by Rosenblatt and five by Baker and the Lancers held the lead the rest of the game.
Two 3-pointers made by Baker in the second quarter helped Salpointe build its lead to 35-20 at halftime.
The lead was 52-36 going into the fourth quarter.
Bradey Henige tried to spur a rally in the last quarter for Cactus with nine of his 17 points.
Salpointe maintained its lead despite an 8-of-14 performance from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
Pasha Shemirani had 11 points and Julian Riesgo added 10 for Salpointe.
Baker also had seven rebounds. He and Rosenblatt each had four assists and three steals.
