Bennedict Mathurin and Christian Koloko are finalists for a couple of national awards.
Mathurin is one of five finalists for the 2022 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award.
The award is named after Hall of Famer Jerry West and honors the top shooting guards in Div. 1 men’s college basketball.

Koloko is one of 10 finalists for the 2022 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award.
Koloko leads the Pac-12 and ranks eighth nationally with 82 blocked shots this season (2.9 bpg). He is the fourth Arizona player in program history to surpass 80 blocked shots in a season and has a chance to reach the UA single-season blocked shots record of 102.
