The National Association of Basketball Coaches have named Arizona’s Tommy Lloyd Coach of the Year.
In his first year as a college head coach, Lloyd led UA to a 33-4 record and a Sweet 16 appearance. Arizona, picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12, won the regular season title and the postseason tournament title. Lloyd is a finalist for the Naismith Coach of the Year honor.
