“I am thrilled to be taking over such an amazing program! I remember playing against Cienega and coach (Eric)Tatham when I was in high school and loved the competitiveness and the way they played the game. I am super excited to be able to bring some different looks to the game and help the program explore the sport of softball even more. I cannot wait to watch the kids compete next February!”
A state champion himself playing baseball with Tucson High, Tatham coached the Cienega softball team for 15 years with four state titles. He is slated to be the new athletic director for Benson High School.
