Tucson Firebirds Post 7 of Tucson High and Cactus Cats of Desert View are set for a best-of-three series to decide the American Legion state championship starting tonight at 7 p.m. at Vista Grande High School.
The second game of the series is set for Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the third game, if needed, following 30 minutes after.
The state champion will advance to the American Legion West Regional to be held in Fairfield, California from August 3-7 and the American Legion World Series is scheduled for Shelby, North Carolina from August 11-16.
