The Tucson Sugar Skulls return to the postseason for the second time in franchise history when it faces the Northern Arizona Wranglers in Prescott Valley tomorrow in the Western Conference playoffs opening round.
Tucson heads into the game tomorrow with a franchise record nine wins and the IFL’s second-highest scoring offense in 2022.
The game tomorrow will mark the fourth time Tucson has played Northern Arizona in 2022. The Sugar Skulls went 1-2 against the Wranglers in the regular season.
Tucson’s lone win against Northern Arizona came in a 72-62 shootout on April 23 at Tucson Arena.
The Sugar Skulls’ high-powered offense will have its work cut out tomorrow against Northern Arizona’s No. 1 overall defense.
The Tucson Sugar Skulls (9-7) play tomorrow against the Northern Arizona Wranglers (12-4) at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. Kickoff is at 6:05 p.m. You can watch the game on the IFL’s YouTube channel.
