The top-ranked Pima women’s soccer team beat South Mountain 7-0 Tuesday in Phoenix to move to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in ACCAC play. Former Cienega standout Delaney Buntin recorded a hat trick in the match with goals scored in the 19th, 20th and 71st minutes.
In addition, former Walden Grove standout Meredith Scott scored twice in the victory as did former Cienega standout Riley Bonner. Former Sahuaro standout Nayeli Vidal had two assists, former Salpointe standout Kyleigh Oliver, former Tucson High standout Juliana Valdez and former Tucson High standout Alexus Mendez also recorded assists.
The Cougars to no shots on goal for the game and former Cienega keeper Adriana Pacheco had no saves.
The Aztecs will play at home on Saturday to host No. 2 ranked Phoenix College at 7 p.m.
