Mountain View senior guard Lucas Crawford has become a college prospect with the assistance of Gametime Recruiting & Consulting CEO/Founder Rodney Cox, who has developed a reputation of being essential for players such as Crawford to become noticed by colleges.
Crawford is a strong, athletic lineman at 6-foot and 215 pounds who is also an accomplished lacrosse player.
He is being coached by former Amphi High School and NAU offensive lineman Matt Johnson, who develops a significant bond with his linemen because of his background.
In this podcast, Crawford touches on that relationship, his strong academic performance, the help he has received from Cox, his lacrosse exploits, the Mountain Lions’ goal of running the table and making the 5A state playoffs and being a teammate of team captain Brett Roberts, a 6-foot-2 and 225-pound linebacker who has hopes of walking on at Arizona and being a success on the football field and working in sports medicine.
Here are some previous All Sports Tucson Talk podcast shows with two of Cox’s players — Pusch Ridge lineman Will Way (who recently decommitted from South Dakota and re-opened his recruitment) and Cienega receiver Keron Watson:
