Arizona pinch-hitter Tyler Casagrande lifted the Wildcats to victory with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth Sunday, securing a series 11-10 win over Air Force at Hi Corbett Field.

Casagrande’s winning plate appearance was set up by an RBI double from Salpointe graduate Mason White to tie the game, an intentional walk to Tony Bullard and an infield single legged out by Garen Gaulfield that loaded the bases.

Casagrande’s walk-off sacrifice fly is his 22nd RBI of the season, matching his four-year career total coming into this season.

Bullard has now set career-high marks with eight home runs and 32 RBIs.

The Wildcats (25-20) fought back from deficits of 7-3 and 10-6 against Air Force (23-26) to earn the victory.

Arizona left-hander Jackson Kent and righties Dawson Netz and Chris Barraza out of the bullpen bolstered the Wildcats’ winning performance.

They held the Falcons scoreless over the final 3 2/3 innings while allowing just one hit.

Barraza (2-2) earned the win, his second of the year, after posting a scoreless top of the ninth.

Bullard, White, Mac Bingham, Nik McClaughry, Emilio Corona and Caulfield had multiple hits in the Wildcats’ 18-hit onslaught.

Arizona is now hitting .318, the best mark in the Pac-12.

The Wildcats next host Nevada (18-27) in the last game of their four-game homestand on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
