The Kino South Complex fields were packed Wednesday night with the 30 area high school programs, including players, coaches, families and supporters, for the first day of the Victory Sports Foundation Passing & Big Man Tournament.
The location was so crowded, it was difficult to find a spot in its expansive parking lot.
Pool play took place Wednesday night with six pools consisting of five teams each. The competition enters bracket play Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with seeding based on how teams performed in their pools. The bracket will be released Thursday afternoon.
