In our latest podcast, my brother Andy and I spoke for almost an hour with GOAZCATS.com’s Troy Hutchison about the commitment Thursday of Class of 2024 standout defensive lineman Elijah Rushing to Arizona.
Rushing’s commitment is one of the most significant recruiting acquisitons in the program’s history, rivaling when five-star receiver prospect Tetairoa McMillan of Servite (Calif.) High School committed to Arizona in 2021.
It is also one of the top commitments of a local prospect to Arizona.
The magnitude of Rushing’s commitment historically with Arizona is the theme of this podcast along with coach Jedd Fisch’s encouraging development of the program from the depths of college football.
